- The Collaborator: Deus Lodge is the UK home of Deus Ex Machina, an Australian lifestyle brand known for its surf, skate, motorcycling culture, and distinct custom vehicle builds. The Lodge itself is located in Boscombe, a short walk from the beach.
- Design Inspiration: The bespoke CE 02 draws heavily from the aesthetic of the Deus Lodge, incorporating its specific color palette and iconic Deus Ex Machina graphic motifs. The overall look is intended to be laid-back, fun, and not take itself too seriously, matching the Deus ethos.
- Purpose: The bike was built to be the ultimate beachside runaround. Its practical use is to be a versatile, all-seasons vehicle for the lodge and its partners to handle errands in town or cruise to the beachfront.
- The Base Vehicle (BMW CE 02): The standard CE 02 is a compact, electric two-wheeler that blends the characteristics of a scooter and a motorcycle.
