The collaboration between BMW Motorrad UK and Deus Lodge resulted in a unique, one-off custom version of the electric BMW CE 02 “eParkourer,” specifically designed for a coastal lifestyle.

Here are the key details of the “beach-bike” project:

  • The Collaborator: Deus Lodge is the UK home of Deus Ex Machina, an Australian lifestyle brand known for its surf, skate, motorcycling culture, and distinct custom vehicle builds. The Lodge itself is located in Boscombe, a short walk from the beach.
  • Design Inspiration: The bespoke CE 02 draws heavily from the aesthetic of the Deus Lodge, incorporating its specific color palette and iconic Deus Ex Machina graphic motifs. The overall look is intended to be laid-back, fun, and not take itself too seriously, matching the Deus ethos.
  • Purpose: The bike was built to be the ultimate beachside runaround. Its practical use is to be a versatile, all-seasons vehicle for the lodge and its partners to handle errands in town or cruise to the beachfront.
  • The Base Vehicle (BMW CE 02): The standard CE 02 is a compact, electric two-wheeler that blends the characteristics of a scooter and a motorcycle. It is offered in two power variants (4 kW and 11 kW) and comes with playful riding modes named “Flow” and “Surf”—the latter of which perfectly suits the Deus Lodge concept.

In essence, BMW Motorrad provided a clean, modern, electric platform, and Deus Lodge injected it with their signature custom style and coastal-centric functionality.
