Kawasaki Z650RS deserves its introduction. The world is filled with chatter and rumours about the new retro machine from Kawasaki.
The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer is gearing up to introduce a younger sibling of the existing Z900RS. And the new model will be positioned just above their trendy naked bike, Ninja 650.
Z650RS will be a new bike from the company that is not expected to be as high-end as Z900RS.
It’s being said that this Kawasaki retro bike for the European market will be much like the Z900RS, i.e., it has retro styling cues and will get premium features.
However, Ninja 650 is a sports bike, while the Z650RS is all retro.
The Z650RS will surely be one of the more affordable retro-styled motorcycles from Kawasaki.
If it uses the same engine from Versys 650, then it will have 649 cc displacement. And make 69 hp and 67 Nm of peak torque.
But since the news is still rumours, we need to wait for an official statement from Kawasaki.
However, Kawasaki Z900RS has no match in terms of style and performance. The market is flooded with powerful bikes that are classic in design.
It does very little to revive the waning interest in 2-wheelers.Which is why manufacturers are keen to bring out a modern yet stylish motorcycle with a more miniature displacement engine and power.
