MV Agusta Forward Racing has unveiled a revamped livery for its Moto2 machine that will be used by riders Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassari in the 2021 season.
The team finished the current campaign at the bottom, with Corsi 24th and Baldassari 31st. Corsi missed two races, while Baldassari missed multiple races.
The Italian manufacturer’s Grand Prix red/silver colours will now feature prominently on the team’s 2022-spec machine. It comes on the heels of an excellent four-year run in which Forward Racing with MV Agusta. Achieved two podiums in 2020 and 2021 and zero wins in four years under MV Agusta’s ownership.
Entry in 2010
In 2010, Forward Racing shocked the Moto2 paddock by joining the class and doing so with a one-two by its riders. However, as 2021 went on, Forward fell back to being a mid-pack squad.
Still, the team earned good results on the grid and expects its new F2 chassis to put it back in the hunt for top results in 2022.
And the F2 prototype will arrive with 765cc inline-triple engine and Dunlop tires.
The graphics aren’t simply a redesign; the team behind the Forward Racing Moto2 team is also receiving an overhaul. After struggling to find success during the 2021 campaign. Simone Corsi to return, while Marcos Ramirez joins the squad after two years of Moto2 American Racing competition.
