The adventure segment in India has always remained untouched for many countries based bike makers.
The adventure market opens up a different opportunity for various bike makers to target the core segment of customers looking for off-road rides or travelling with their bikes.
And here we are talking about CFMoto.
CFMoto’s models, currently sold in India, has experienced a little slower growth. However, the company is constantly working on bringing new products to the market and has introduced new models like 650GT BS6 (with ABS) and 650MT BS6.
650 MT
These two models will complement its existing product portfolio of consequential on & off-road motorcycles.
CFMoto motorcycles provide what it takes to be at the centre of attention on the road. Now, with the addition of the new BS6 compliant 650cc motorcycles, their offerings get more complete.
The 650MT and 650GT are yet another example of how CFMoto is taking the initiative to maintain its leadership in the two-wheeler industry while constantly striving to bring in updated variants that can keep pace with changing times, retaining their core essence.
In the Indian market, CFMoto 650MT is available at Rs 5.29 lakh, while the 650GT arrives at Rs 5.59 lakh (both ex-showroom).
The BS6 version arrives in the 650 motorcycles to comply with the BSVI emission norms that started from 2020.
650 GT
The BS6 models were brought to India due to the government’s stricter emission norms from April 1st last year.
These engines comply with BS6 norms but also retain features from the previous engine.
It essentially means that the new 650MT and 650GT will benefit from a re-mapped fuel map and a re-designed manifold to help reduce emissions while still using the grade petrol.
Both the BS6 650MT and 650GT arrive with the same performance specs.
- Engine: 2-cylinder in-line,4-stroke, liquid-cooled
- Displacement: 649cc
- Bore Stroke: 83mm×60mm
- Compression ratio: 11.3:1
- Ignition: ECU
- Speeding Way: 6-speed
- Fuel Supply: EFI
- Max Power: 41.5 KW at 8250 RPM
- Max Torque: 54.4 Nm at 7000 RPM
And CFMoto now has started the deliveries of these two models.
