Joan Mir teammate of Rins will start from the fifth. Not to forget Mir ranks top in the current 2020 MotoGP ranking with 137 points followed by Quartararo with 123 points.
However, for Valencia GP, Quartararo will have to start from 11th position. Rossi returned to the Valencia GP after his brush with Covid-19.
Garrett Gerloff made his MotoGP debut and took Rossi’s place. Lorenzo Savadori takes the place of Andrea Iannone.
At opening lap in Aragon, the collision between Binder and Miller will see Binder getting a long lap penalty.
KTM’s Iker Lecuona had to miss the event as he tested Covid positive. We do see Marc Marquez getting fit. However, he isn’t completely fit to ride, and HRC test rider Bradl takes his place.
