Key Takeaways from Warm Up

  • Lowes Fires a Warning Shot: Sam Lowes’ phenomenal pace confirms his strong form this weekend, carrying the momentum from his Race 1 podium. He’s a real threat for the top step today.
  • Top Title Rivals on Pace: Both Race 1 winner Razgatlioglu and his key championship rival Bautista were right on the pace, showing that the championship battle remains as intense as ever heading into the day’s final two races.
  • Bimota-Kawasaki Consistency: Alex Lowes was impressive in fourth, demonstrating the consistency and speed of the new Bimota KB998 platform.
  • Bulega off the pace: Saturday’s pole-sitter and runner-up, Nicolo Bulega, was down in 13th, suggesting he may have been focusing on a different strategy or tire run, or simply not chasing a quick time in the short session. Expect him to be much faster in the Superpole Race.
