Škoda Auto
Skoda recently marked the 10th annual Škoda Classic Tour in grand style! A record-breaking 265 cars participated, making it the biggest classic car rally in Central Europe. The event kicked off right outside the Škoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav, the home of Škoda for the past 128 years. From there, the contestants drove nearly 136 km, admiring the breathtaking Czech Republic countryside along the way.
Central Europe
But let’s not forget what truly makes this brand so unique – the people! Škodians came out in droves, either driving or cheering along the route. These dedicated women and men develop, build, and sell our cars with unmatched passion.
They proudly display their love for our brand and the numerous remarkable models we’ve produced throughout the years. Klaus Zellmer, CEO of SKODA Auto wants to send a big thank you to all of them for their continued hard work and dedication to our customers.
Klaus Drives
And guess what? The SKODA CEO had the opportunity to drive my own classic Škoda, a 1960 Felicia Cabriolet. But that’s not all. He has captured some fantastic moments from the rally, and I’ll share them soon in the next video episode of “Klaus Drives” here on LinkedIn. So, keep an eye out for it!
Conclusion
Being able to traverse the Czech Republic’s picturesque countryside in a convoy of vintage Škoda cars must have been an exhilarating experience, not just for the participants but also for the spectators. The fact that Škodians came out in full force, showcasing their love and passion for the brand, speaks volumes about the company’s culture and the bond between its employees.
