KTM took the Indian market by storm with their adventure motorcycles. The Duke models had established the Austrian brand as a serious player with young sportbike enthusiasts.But the 390 Adventure changed all that.

While earlier KTM motorcycles had to rely on enterprising owners to sell imported bikes. KTM 390 Adventure made it possible for Bajaj-KTM to launch the bike officially in India.

With plenty of time for improvements and updates.Here’s a look at what you can expect from the Indian-spec 2022 KTM 390 Adventure.

KTM India may not be teasing the launch of its 390 Adventure on social media channels. However, the new 2022 390 ADV was seen at a dealership in India. And it is expected to be an India-only offering when launched.

Spied

A couple of weeks ago, we had a spy shot of what claims to be the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure.

The report went on to say that the Austrian company is finally bringing its much-anticipated middleweight adventure bike to India by this year.

While we did not know when KTM will bring the new ADV.We do — at the KTM 390, Adventure will arrive in the second half of 2022.

The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is one of the most-awaited motorcycles in India right now.

Changes 

There’s limited information about the base variant, but we know that the 2022 version will come powered by a 373 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine puts out 43 BHP of power and 37 Nm of torque. Which is where the motor remains unchanged in the 2022 version.

This new colour scheme will likely debut on the KTM 390 Adventure for 2022. The motocross-inspired matte blue top half and the orange bottom section is visible.

KTM has yet to make any official announcement, but the 390 ADV appears to get updates for 2022, with colour changes and more. The new 390 ADV will arrive with a host of cosmetic updates and mechanical improvements. Like switchable traction control with two modes- Off-Road and Street. We also see improvement in the robustness.

Other features like engine, brakes, and suspension remain the same compared to the previous variant.

With KTM bringing these upgrades, expect a price hike in the new model on the current trim that arrives at Rs 3.28 lakh, ex-showroom.
