Honda did say last year that a BS6 compliant version of this bike is in the works, and it will arrive once it meets these norms.
According to an official type approval document, Honda’s technical centre sent the documents soon. It means we can expect the launch of this new CB300R any time now.

At one point, Honda postponed the launch citing BS6 emission norms.
We hear from multiple sources that the bike is well on its way to the Indian market and should enter dealerships soon.
The motorcycle will arrive with a brand new avatar. According to a leaked 2022 Honda CB300R type approval document, the CB300R produces 31.1bhp at 9000rpm while the discontinued model produces 30.4bhp at 8000rpm.
It could be an attempt by Honda India to get maximum power from the engine and at the same time meet BS6 emission norms.
Honda CB300R is one of the highly anticipated motorcycles from Honda that has created quite a lot of buzz in the Indian motorcycle market.
Honda will launch the new CB300R by early 2022 and pitted against many other bikes, including the KTM 390 Duke and even the BMW G310R.
