Over the years, the LC2 transitioned between ownership, resting in the hands of collectors who appreciated its historical significance. A meticulous restoration by Canepa in California revitalized the car, culminating in Lancia Classiche certification. Despite its storied past, the car has yet to make its post-restoration competitive debut.
