• Ducati Discord: Newly crowned World Champion Marc Márquez (P11) and last race winner Francesco Bagnaia (P17) were both pushed out of the Top 10 on a chaotic Friday, forcing them to compete in Q1. Márquez reportedly crashed twice and complained about his bike’s slide control.
• Bezzecchi Shines: Marco Bezzecchi set the fastest time despite admitting he is “still suffering” from the physical effects of his collision with Jorge Martín in Japan.
• Honda Progress: Honda showed impressive pace, with Luca Marini topping FP1 and Joan Mir finishing P6 overall in Practice.

2. Rider Absences and Replacements

The Aprilia camp is significantly reduced for the Indonesian GP due to injuries:

• Jorge Martín (Aprilia Racing): Confirmed to be out of the Indonesian Grand Prix after suffering a complex triple-fragment collarbone fracture in the Japanese GP Sprint. He underwent successful surgery in Barcelona but will not be replaced by Aprilia for this round, leaving Marco Bezzecchi as the sole factory rider. Aprilia has also confirmed Martín will miss the Australian GP.
• Ai Ogura (Trackhouse Aprilia): The rookie has also withdrawn from the Indonesian GP due to an ongoing right-hand injury sustained at the San Marino GP. Trackhouse will not field a replacement, leaving Raúl Fernández as their only representative.
