BMW Motorrad CEO Markus Flasch decided the best way to unveil the highly anticipated F 450 GS adventure bike was… wait for it… inside a lift! Talk about an elevated experience for this adventure machine!

A day before its official EICMA 2025 spotlight, the production-ready bike made its cramped, yet glorious, debut, showing off what looks like the fully-loaded, top-trim spec.

🛠️ The Guts & Glory

  • The Look: It’s a chip off the old concept block! The bike is all sharp lines, a mean-looking front fairing, and a very cool, inset X-shaped DRL headlight—clearly taking cues from its big sibling, the R 1300 GS. This thing looks purposeful and ready to ditch the asphalt.
  • Top-Tier Bling: The CEO’s lift-mate was rockin’ the good stuff: tubeless wire-spoke rims (a must-have for ADV riders!), a chunky metal bash plate, and some proper hand guards. Don’t worry, the ‘budget’ versions will likely roll on alloy wheels, but let’s be honest, you want the full Dakar-ready look.
  • The Heartbeat: Powering this beast is a 450cc parallel-twin engine that pumps out a healthy 48bhp and about 45Nm of characterful torque. BMW promises a six-speed gearbox that’s full of… well, character!
  • Under the Skin: It’s built on a tough steel trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe, suspended by a burly USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. The wheel setup is the classic adventure split: 19-inch front/17-inch rear.

🇮🇳 The Plot Twist: Made in India!

In a major flex of the TVS-BMW partnership, the new F 450 GS will be Made in India at the TVS plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. That means we can expect the launch in India to follow quickly after its global EICMA debut. Get those savings accounts ready!

Who needs a fancy stage when you have an elevator and a bike this exciting? The adventure starts now!
