Alex Harvill’s attempt goes wrong, kills himself during preparations.

On Friday, June 18, 2021, AMA motocross, supercross, and Canadian MX star Alex Harvill was killed in a tragic accident during practice at the Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington, for a scheduled 351-foot world record jump.

In 2013 he achieved a Guinness World Record for a 297-foot dirt-to-dirt jump.

While attempting to launch his motorcycle, he landed short, triggering Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to take him to the hospital.

His record would have matched Robbie Maddison’s 351 jumps that he made in 2008.

Harvill leaves behind two sons, Watson and Willie and a wife.
