After some digging around in their rather epic Facebook page, we came across a video showing the Iron Macchina custom bike built with help from Triumph Motorcycles, who provided the basis for this ultra-exclusive machine.
The bike in its finished form is one of a kind and would be a head-turner even if it was just a street scrambler, but instead, it is no bones about the fact that it was built for an entry into “Moto Builds Pilipinas,” a competition.
Not only that but the structure work and pieces were all crafted by hand, apart from the 660cc engine.
There are a lot of great builds out there for Triumphs, but none quite like this one from the Philippines. The Triumph Trident 660 is a bike that begs to be customized.
Its relatively simple look can lend itself well to people of subtle tastes, but Iron Macchina figured that there was room for improvement to make it stand out just a bit more.

So it seems that Iron Macchina didn’t just give this bike an extreme makeover. It’s been completely reborn into a whole new animal. Aside from its 660c engine, little remains from the original Trident.
If you compare the two bikes side by side and imagine them with the same bodywork, you can see how dramatic a change there’s been.
It’s never easy to create something truly original. It might be easier to take a model that exists, make a few changes, and call it your own, but trust me when I say it’s much more gratifying to start from scratch.
That’s precisely what was done by the team at Iron Macchina – they started with a preexisting model and created their vision of perfection from there.
Yes, it’s a Triumph. But it’s not just any Triumph—it features an extensive retrofuturism design.
The bike, dubbed the CSTM-X (Café Sprint Triumph Macchina X), is the product of a collaboration between British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles in the Philippines and one of the country’s top custom builders, Iron Macchina.
You’ve never seen a Triumph Trident quite like this. Ever wonder what a motorcycle would look like if it were constructed entirely handmade? Apart from Akrapovic, exhaust, side mirror, and clip-on handlebars are aftermarket.
The other feature is that the bike gets the “retractable seat”, as mentioned in the video by Santos.
It takes a lot of passion, skill and determination to build a machine like this. It’s not just about weld or fabricating like a crafting genius would do.
It’s about thinking out-of-the-box, analyzing bikes and figuring out ways to make them better.
A masterpiece in the making by one of the most reputable builders in the Philippines and worldwide.
