Although perhaps less overt, Helstons is a motorcycle-approved shoe that incorporates slide resistance into its design.
It’s the perfect product for someone going from wheels on two wheels to two wheels on two feet, though it appeals to anyone desiring motorcycle-inspired style.
On the surface, the Kobe motorcycle sneakers are just typical sneakers. They’re not flashy like some other designs in the Helstons lineup. It’s quite the opposite.

The overall colour scheme of the shoes is something of a muted, earthy blue, with very muted red accents. These elements are offset by a thick white sole and a white midsole.
However, the new Helstons Kobe motorcycle sneakers feature a flexible and comfortable vulcanized rubber sole, with a breathable lining that helps ensure the rider’s feet don’t overheat.
The toes are also heat-resistant for extra protection.
The mid-sole is also explicitly designed to be shock-absorbing, while the outsole features a non-slip design to keep the wearer safe at all times.
These sneakers are designed to work with any look with a soft suede upper and a white rubber sole. According to Helstons, “You can wear them with a pair of jeans or your favourite Helstons gear.
However, what got me interested was how Helstons designed these boots as both street and motorcycle footwear. There is no clear demarcation between the two, which is what makes these boots exciting.
