Harley Davidson is already looking to its future and a new model. New motorcycles will appear at the end of January 2023 but are already being leaked worldwide. The model year 2023 brings a new Nightster S to the market.
In Australia, one of the many countries where the manufacturer still keeps its large share, several pictures and some details about the Harley-Davidson Nightster S are published ceremonially prematurely.
The Harley-Davidson Nightster is a masterpiece, but the bike may need to be updated with time. The manufacturers have listened to the customers’ growing needs and preferences and made numerous noteworthy changes to the bike. And if you think the changes are cosmetic only, you’ll be surprised to know some vital differences.
Same power
The Nightster S retains the same 975 V2 with a 90 hp output compared to Nightster.
It also retains the same chassis as Nightster. Perhaps you have already guessed that nearly nothing has changed. The only differences are to be found in the design of the wheels and other elements, but there is no technical alteration.
Yes, you read right, and this leads to only one conclusion. There is nothing to be said about the new Nightster S that has not been discussed before.
New handlebars
It gets the new cast wheels with multi-spoke cast wheels in a cross-spoke design instead of the simple 5-spoke rims of the Nightster. Nightster S also retains the exact wheel dimensions compared to Nightster, which are 100/90-19 at the front and 150/80B16 at the rear.
Further, the Nighster S gets new high handlebars, and in addition, it also comes with a unique stereo damper and brake system. The latter is said to be 1:1, taken from the Harley’s Nightster. After all these modifications, the bike’s total weight has increased by five kg (211 kg > 216 kg), one more than its minor brother.
Since we have not received official word regarding this new model’s colouring or price tag, we should be looking forward to more updates shortly.
