Usually, we must wait for the official debut of a new product until we can see it in its entirety. That was different with the new Harley-Davidson Street Glide CVO. While the motorcycle isn’t yet public, some details are available in publicly-available documents.

After looking at the new Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide in a released video and images by blogger Dr Dan Morel on March 14, 2023, however, the quality of the footage could have been better, and there was not much information.
Cycle World’s Ben Purvis has unearthed images of the yet-to-be-revealed Street Glide 121 in Australian vehicle certification documents.
2023 Harley-Davidson’s CVO Street Glide
Harley-Davidson’s CVO Street Glide has been a steady mainstay in the company’s lineup since its 2010 debut, but this model is ordinary. A new cycle world report claims the machine will get many significant updates, including a redesigned fairing with an angular look.
New images
New photos reveal we should expect plenty of changes in addition to the new headlight and running light strips. And these changes are redesigned fairing hogs. We don’t see the new front fender and the Street Glide ST’s hugger mudguard.
Apart from the new facelift, Harley introduces the new cockpit with new gauges replacing the traditional analogue gauges. The ride data is now centralized with the new widescreen TFT display. Regarding the electronics suite, we see the D-pad-style controls on the left-handgrip.
The new design gets an elongated fuel tank and streamlined side panels. Designers have cut down the rear bottom edges from the 2024 CVO Street Glide shapelier silhouette.
Two vertically oriented brake lights are integrated into the existing layout between those re-sculpted bags and the rear fender.
2024 Harley-Davidson’s CVO Street Glide
Harley-Davidson is boldly moving by including an all-new 121 Milwaukee-Eight platform in its top-tier touring bike. However, the final analysis is still premature until the model year 2023 CVO Street Glide 121 hits the streets and the dyno.
Analysis
Nonetheless, preliminary details about the model have been brought up by Purvis, expecting to have to employ variable valve technology with the next-gen M8.
The new power plant is rumoured to incorporate control strategies embedded within the architecture. However, whether there will be a standard or optional throttle body design with the M8 from Harley remains unclear. We must wait until June 2023, when Harley officially states this speculation.
