A spot on the WSBK grid has become available following.The wrist injury sustained by Lucas Mahias in this month’s World Superbike round at Magny-Cours.
The French rider recently underwent surgery following the crash at Assen in July. But Puccetti Racing has confirmed that he will sit out the remainder of the season to give his wrist time to heal correctly.
The WorldSBK paddock was given a major shake-up after Magny Cours. With KRT set to announce a replacement for Mahias.
