Moto Guzzi, an iconic Italian motorbike manufacturer, is rolling out its eCommerce platform in America, doubling its presence online in just a year.
The new website will allow Moto Guzzi enthusiasts to browse and purchase critical models on the newly launched digital store.
As per Motorcyclesdata 2020, sales dropped 14%, losing 9 million units from the previous year, but the loss was concentrated in 4 countries, recovering fast.
The dynamics
The changing dynamics of the motorcycle industry and the growth of the internet and e-commerce have allowed Moto Guzzi to design a user experience, unlike any other industry.
While the vast majority of the existing US dealers will carry and service their motorcycles after launch, once available.
Moto Guzzi will also be offering direct purchase via their website. For speedier delivery and a more straightforward purchasing process.
What’s cool about the Moto Guzzi site is that you can navigate all of their bikes and read reviews. In addition, you can explore the specs of each bike which opens a new window with more information.
If you decide to buy one, you see the prices for each model, colours. And parts added/removed. So it’s all pretty straightforward. And this is what we expect in the new Moto Guzzi’s online store.
What makes things more manageable is the Aprilia’s parent company Piaggio already has the eCommerce platform ready.
So all you have to do is select the item, put it in the cart, apply discounts or promos, pay the bill and checkout.
