Royal Enfield is working on a 450cc roadster based on the Himalayan 450 platform. The bike has been spotted testing several times, and we now have a better idea of what it will look like.


The roadster will be powered by the same 450cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that will also power the Himalayan 450. This engine is expected to produce around 40 bhp and 45 Nm of torque. The bike will also get a six-speed gearbox and dual-channel ABS.

In terms of design, the roadster will have a classic Royal Enfield look with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlights and taillights, and spoked wheels. The bike will also have a comfortable riding position and a long wheelbase, making it ideal for long-distance touring.


The roadster will be a more affordable alternative to the Himalayan 450. It is expected to be upwards Rs 2.5 lakh.

The Royal Enfield 450cc roadster is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2023.

The new roadster from Royal Enfield may be called the Hunter 450. The name Hunter has a long history with the company, and it would be a fitting name for a new motorcycle designed for performance and adventure. 

The company is also expected to work on the Scram 450, a more off-road-oriented version of the Hunter 450. Both motorcycles are expected to be powered by the same 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine found in the Himalayan 450.


The Royal Enfield 450cc roadster will be a very popular motorcycle in India. The bike offers a lot of performance and features for the money. I am also excited to see how the bike performs on the road. It has the potential to be a perfect all-rounder.
