Hear ye, hear ye, Suzuki Katana enthusiasts! I know you’ve been holding your breath for a while, but the official Suzuki Katana Meeting is finally returning in 2022! That’s right. It’s been over three years since we last met to discuss our beloved bikes, and that was well before the pandemic (which unfortunately killed so many of my friends).
Katana Meet
Yes, I know you’re tired of living as an “underground community”, but sadly it wasn’t safe for us to gather in large groups. Now that the pandemic has subsided, we can return to doing what we do best: riding Suzuki Katanas together!
The Suzuki Katana Meeting has been a rare opportunity for Katana owners to gather and enjoy their motorcycles in a safe, structured environment for a long. The meeting was initially held every year, but due to the worldwide rise of the Katana-killing virus (coming through!), the gathering dates have changed over the past half-decade.
Let’s Have Fun with KATANA
Let’s Have Fun with KATANA! is the theme. On September 11, 2022, there will be a Suzuki Katana Meeting in Japan. It promises to be one of the most popular events of all time. There’s only one catch: it’s scheduled to take place on September 11, 2022 — a Sunday.
That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t plan. In fact, according to Japanese Hamamatsu Fruit Park (Hamamatsu City) (where the meeting will be held), Gates open at 9 a.m., with the formal event schedule beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. You can park the bikes for free, and however, for four vehicles, there is no parking.
But then this year at the show, you can pick up a sweet new t-shirt! Available in sizes M to XL, the price of the t-shirt is ¥ 3,000( $22) and includes tax. They will start accepting the orders from August 1, 2022, and will begin shipping.
Objective
It’s a great way to meet other fans and hear from Suzuki’s engineers in a group setting. There aren’t many events like it on the planet, so planning to attend it early is wise.
It is a great event to attend if you’re interested in buying a new Suzuki Katana or hearing more about the company’s many automotive products. In the meantime, check out the link below to get additional information on the company’s recent history and related topics.
