Yamaha has increased the price of its top-spec R15 M model in India by Rs 500, now priced at Rs 1,94,400 ex-showroom. However, the standard R15 model continues to sell at the same price of Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom for the Metallic Red colour.

The Yamaha R15 M has recently been updated with a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, LED indicators and other essential information but retains the same styling as the previous model.
It is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder engine that produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter as standard. The motorcycle also has a traction control system, two ride modes and dual-channel ABS as standard.
Regarding the price hike news, Yamaha has been known to make periodic price adjustments on their products based on market conditions and other factors. Suppose there has been a marginal price hike for the Yamaha R15 M in India.
