Yamaha Motor India has planned to unveil its new 2021 FZ FI and the FZS FI.
The FZ comes with BS6-compliant 149cc motor, and it essentially makes 12.2bhp and 13.6Nm. We don’t see any change in performance specs as the earlier engine was BS6.
The existing FZS FI series comes in the five paint schemes Dark Matte Blue, Matte Black, new Matte Red, Dark Knight, and Vintage Edition.
However, Yamaha plans to provide two more colour options: Metallic Black and Racing Blue.
The new FZS FI weighs 135 kgs, making the bike even more responsive, leading to quick initial pickup and smooth passing acceleration.
The critical feature we now see on the FZS-FI is the Bluetooth connectivity.
The connect is responsible for accessing functions such as the location of the bike,e-lock, answer back, hazard and many more.
The bike also comes with a 3D logo. Further, the FZ FI comes with LEDs, a side stand engine cutoff switch.
It also gets the single-channel ABS, telescopic fork / 7-step adjustable monocross suspension, with disc Brake(282mm) front brake and disc Brake(220mm) rear brake.
With a 100/80-17 at the front and a 140/60-17 radial tyre at the rear offers low rolling resistance and deliver excellent fuel economy and good grip.
Yamaha offers 13-litre fuel tank, plus the bike arrives with 16% larger seating surface area for the pillion, for extra comfort the seat is 26 mm wide and is 5mm thicker.
