- Korean company S&T Group (Science and Technology) in 2017 acquired the Hyosung Motors Division.
- And the name comes to a change to S&T Motors. In 2014 S&T Motors was acquired by Kolao Holdings, and the name is converted to KR Motors.
With total assets of 135 billion Korean Won, the KR Motors comes directed under the able leadership of Lee Gi-bok as CEO.
KR Motors has a range of a massive portfolio that consists of Bikes, Scooters, ATV’s and even EV’s.
While we are taking a look at specific motorcycle Aquila GV (GV stands for Grand Voyage) 125S, however, there is a bit of surprise as the cruiser comes with a 124.7 cc, 60° V-twin motor.
Which us slightly unexpected for this segment.
Motor
Supported by five-speed gear transmission the motor comes with a 124.7 cc, 60° V-twin engine, liquid-cooled SOHC 6-valve 60° V-twin capable of calibrating 10.2kW (13.6hp) at 10000rpm and 10.2Nm at 9250rpm.
The engine also gets the 42mm x 45mm as bore stroke and has a compression ratio of 11.8: 1. However, the motor is Euro4.
Chassis/Design
The motor comes stacked in the steel Tubular semi-double-cradle frame and separable tail frame.
The suspension duties are performed by 35Ø conventional telescopic on the front and rear has a steel dual Side swingarm with a hydraulic double shock absorber (5 Steps Preload adjustable).
CBS brake for safer rides
The bobber style Aquila GV 125S comes with 165 kgs and gets 12 l fuel tank. On the front, the brakes are 300 Ø Single disc, pin slide three pistons calliper (CBS) while at the opposite end. They are 250 Ø Single disc, opposed two pistons calliper (CBS).
Further, the tires are 20/80-16 60P at the front and 150/80-15 70P at the rear.
To enhance the riding experience, the Aquila GV 125S has a flat aluminium handlebar. The LCD dash to display vital information. The presence of the step pad lessens the vibration.

Paint Schemes
To add the bike gets the long and shot seats for a rider and a pillion. There are two paint schemes available, and they are matt and solid black.
Accessories/Price
KR Motors provides accessories in the form of pannier handle, side case, leather brown bench bag, crash bar and protection screen.
In Europe, the Aquila GV 125S will retail at 3,504 euros. We are still not sure if India will receive the models. Even if it does KR Motors will have to upgrade it to BS6.
