Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,072Â
Problem Description: Ducati North America (Ducati) recalls certain 2018-2021 Scrambler 1100 motorcycles.Â
- All Ducati PortfolioÂ
- Imola sees 2021 Aprilia Tuono 1100 being tested
- Triumph Tiger 900 series recalled
- Bimota starts tests on KB4
The exhaust valve cable could contact the primary positive battery wire and potentially short-circuit.Â
Consequence: An electrical short-circuit increases the risk of fire.Â
Remedy: Ducati will notify owners. And dealers will install a new cable guide and self-locking cable tie to the exhaust valve cable, free of charge.Â
The recall comes expected to begin in January 2021.
