Japan gets a new 2021 KTM 1290 Adventure S.
KTM is all set to get a new benchmark with the launch of KTM 1290 Adventure S. It’s a whole new definition of adventure for bike riders.
The report says, “Adventure is all about exploring every corner of the world”. With this, the KTM Japan has announced its latest (3rd) generation “1290 Adventure S” model from May 2021.
The “1290 Super Adventure S” comes equipped with an improved 1301cc V twin engine. And it calibrates to a maximum output of 160ps / maximum torque of 138Nm.
The bike adopts a new fuel tank. And components on the panel come designed based on ergonomics, plus the best part, 1290 Super ADV, gets the 20 mm height adjustment seat.
Further, it also comes with Redesigned bodywork, short chassis. And a long swing arm to improve sharp cornering and stability during acceleration.
Besides, ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), next-generation WP semi-active suspension. KTM adopts the new 7-inch TFT display. At the same time, the handlebar is flat to achieve agility and long-distance riding comfort.
The price is 2.39 million yen. The “1290 Super Adventure R” is more off-road oriented and comes equipped with a fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension with a travel amount of 220mm.
