Engine
The beating heart of the Leoncino 500 remains as the liquid-cooled, 500cc twin-cylinder, now Euro 5 approved.
Despite the update, the manufacturer confirms a maximum power of 47.6 hp at 8500 RPM and a peak torque of 46 Nm at 6000 RPM.
The bike has a vast feature list, and it includes a 37mm throttle body, dual overhead camshaft distribution, wet clutch, 6-speed gearbox, and four valves per cylinder. At the same time, the ABS of the bike is standard.
With the significant transition to the euro 5 version, the engine had undergone various exhaust system updates, transmission, and engine ECU calibration, which already happened on the TRK 502 and TRK 502 X models.
A secondary air system comes installed in the bike to prevent and reduce excess emissions while starting the bike (by activating a post-reaction which allows the catalyst to be reached rapidly).
The chassis features a new fork and comes in a 50 mm diameter and upside down stanchions in the front. And new shock absorbers at the rear, making both of these adjustable in the hydraulic brake in extension.
The Leoncino comes supported with 17″ alloy wheels that house the new Pirelli Angel GT tires of 120/70-R17 and 160/60-R17.
The front brakes use a double 320 mm diameter front disc with the four-piston radial calliper.
In contrast, the rear uses a 260 mm diameter disc with only a single-piston calliper. The seat gets a shape to provide the utmost comfort to both the rider and the pillion.
The price in Europe is Euro 6,240 which remains unchanged compared to the outgoing version. The bike comes in black and red.
