The quarter-litre segment is an interesting one in Indonesia. Many potential new riders might want to hop on a fast bike but stop themselves due to the high cost.
Meanwhile, veteran riders want something fun with little compromise. Kawasaki has been offering its Ninja 250r since 1986 (subsequent models were named 300 and 400 r).
ZX-25r gets much appreciation from the motorcycle community
And it has consistently proven itself as a popular offering for the vertically challenged crowd.
However, the new ZX-25r goes one step beyond as it has much to offer with 50hps at 15,500 rpm and 22 lb-ft of torque at 14,500 rpm and weighs 181 kgs ( 401 pounds).
The Japanese marque also noted the ZX-25r had become the most purchased motorcycle model in Indonesia, with 4000 units being sold in its first year of release.
Further, the WorldSBK is already reporting the WSBK champions. Presenting the public with a new look for the Ninja ZX-10r and a slew of unique models for their home market. Including the base ZX-25r along with three special editions.
For 2022, the ZX-25r ABS SE gets three more additional colour choices:
- Passion Red, Graphene
- Steel Gray, and
- Metallic Spark Black.
However, one shade that continues for Kawasaki’s 2022 ZX-25r is its trademark lime green, ebony, and blizzard, which we can also see in its elder sibling, the new ZX-10r.
