QJ Motors and its plans
It is interesting to hear about QJ Motor’s plans for a sporty cruiser bike called the Flash 600 V4. QJ Motor, the Chinese manufacturer and owner of the Italian brand Benelli, has been expanding its presence in the motorcycle market in recent years.
While QJ Motor still needs to be well-established in the U.S. market, it has gained attention through its racing initiatives and various motorcycle concepts turning into production models.

Design
The design of the Flash 600 V4 heavily borrows styling cues from the Harley-Davidson Sportster, featuring a low-slung stance, horizontal headlight, fat tires, and twin exhaust pipes.
This resemblance might be attributed to QJ Motor’s ongoing partnership with Harley-Davidson, where QJ Motor develops and builds small-displacement motorcycles for the iconic American brand. The recently unveiled Harley X350 and X500 are examples of this collaboration.
Specs
The Flash 600 V4 is expected to be powered by a 600cc V4 engine. QJ Motor has reportedly been working on developing this engine for some time. The V4 configuration, similar to Ducati’s V4 engines, will likely provide a unique performance characteristic to the cruiser.
The engine is expected to have a 90-degree design, four valves per cylinder, and a dual-overhead-camshaft setup. Horsepower figures are estimated to be in the range of 60 to 80 horsepower.

Debut
As is typical for QJ Motor, the Flash 600 V4 will likely debut in the Chinese market before potentially being exported to other global markets. It is worth noting that a performance-oriented engine like the 600cc V4 might typically be associated with a sportier platform, such as a naked bike or a sportbike.
If the Flash 600 V4 becomes a reality, it could be the first modern V4-powered middleweight motorcycle in the market, offering a unique combination of performance and cruiser styling.
