BMW Motorrad has registered a 40 percent increase in calendar sales in India. As the German two-wheeler manufacturer sold 7,282 motorcycles in the country in the 2022 calendar year. These figures recorded a rise of 40 percent since 2022.

This growth has been achieved owing to small-capacity motorcycles such as its G 310 Series, which comprises three motorcycles — R, RR, and GS. Together, these three models contributed 90 per cent of the company’s total motorcycle sales.
Besides the G 310 range. The BMW Motorrad also has the S 1000 RR, R 1250 GS, R 1250 GSA and C 400 GT in the Indian market.

It also revealed that the recently launched 2023 S 1000 RR, along with the ex-showroom (India) prices, starts from Rs 20.25 lakh. While the CE 04 electric scooter is yet to be launched in the Indian market.
