There are few things more exciting than the emergence of new motorcycle brands.

Unfortunately, it’s not that often that an upstart firm comes along with a compelling product. That truly stands apart from the crowded field of existing competitors.

That’s why we’re genuinely intrigued by CFMoto’s line of small-displacement street bikes.

Which attempt to differentiate themselves dynamically from established players in the marketplace with unique styling and exceptional levels of technology.

Shrunk’s the name of the game when it comes to motorcycle engines. And that’s particularly true at the low end of displacement.

The global motorcycle industry’s push toward complyin. With emissions legislation has seen small engine sizes, like 250cc and 300cc, become increasingly common.

People want these bikes to be lightweight and nimble,.And this often combines with the desire for a slim fuel tank – either at the front or rear – and a reduction in bodywork size.

The name might not roll off the tongue. But it does appear that CFMoto is trying to set itself apart by bobbing. And weaving through all of its competitors in the small displacement market.

The urban mobility trend has seen many significant manufacturers introduce more miniature versions of their most popular bikes. Now CFMoto is doing it too with their new 250 CL-X.

The CFMoto 250 CL-X is scheduled to debut in China. And will initially be available in white and black with yellow accents.

The 250 model will also receive a more angular and aggressive look than the 700 CL-X in design.

The 249cc powerplant will calibrate to 27.5 horsepower. And which we feel is good for the amount of displacement it has.

CFMoto has fitted them with full LED lighting consisting of turn signals integrated into the switchgear.Daytime running light position on the tank, elements.

As a bonus, it looks like CFMoto put an excellent TFT display on the dash for good measure too. And this we don’t see on the eldering 700 CL-X siblings. Plus, the architecture, too, isn’t identical of both these bikes.

The front and rear gets 150 section tires and wears single disc brakes on both ends. Further, the rear section has a tire hugger that helps to keep the mudd off.

Given that 300 SR is present in Europe, we may also see CFMoto increasing the displacement from 250 to 300. It ideally means the new 300 CL-X will go head-on with Husqvarna Vitpilen and Svartpilens.
