CFMoto-CLX700

When it comes to motorcycles, one brand that springs into everyone’s mind is none other than CFMoto. The Chinese manufacturer has carved a special place in the industry thanks to products known for their performance and value.

KTM Malaysia, the official subsidiary of Austria-based KTM, is one of the exclusive partners of CFMoto products in this part of the world. The latest addition from CFMoto is all set to be welcomed by motorcycle enthusiasts, and it will create a rippling effect in the market with its competitive pricing and performance.

Despite the growing segment of adventure-ready motorcycles, there aren’t many offerings generated from Asia that can also meet local needs overseas. Then again, we’re not surprised, as it’s a bit of an impossible task for OEMs to cover all bases at once.

Based on the neo-retro platform, the Sports Adventure is equipped with retro-infused styling that combines with a performance-oriented specification. This “third generation” model range first appeared a few years ago and is perhaps a more logical extension of the brand’s product portfolio than its predecessor.

Performance specs have a 693cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine with a 180-degree crankshaft. The 693cc motor output 69 horsepower at 8,500 pm and 43 pound-feet torque at 6,500 rpm.

CF Moto’s 700-series bikes are designed to be a hark back to the glory days of biking when power and adventure were two words that were frequently uttered in the same sentence. The new 700 CL-X Adventure model certainly has plenty of retro charm — but it has a strict set of modern credentials that helps it compete with class-leading adventure twins in the market.

Para twin

The China-based motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto returns to show its strength in the global market by introducing its 700 para twin adventure bike in Malaysia.

This new motorcycle, the CL-X, will shift toward the capabilities of a unique motorcycle brand that is more than just capable. The bike is priced at RM 35,888 (USD 8,100). Also, it has a two-year or 20,000-kilometer (12,500 miles) warranty.
