Few lovely photographs from Andrea Dovizioso’s Jerez test. With every manufacturer getting ready for the 2022 MotoGP season.
We could see Andrea Dovizioso testing with the new Yamaha M1 and with the YAMAHA RNF MotoGP TEAM.
As YAMAHA RNF MotoGP TEAM concludes the first tests of 2022 on a positive note, thanks to the progress made by Andrea Dovizioso.
Today’s conditions at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto turned out to be a bit more challenging than yesterday due to the strong wind and low track temperatures that affected the tire grip levels throughout the day.
However, Dovi managed to make good progress in preparing for the 2022 season.
Dovi and his crew continued work where they left off yesterday. Andrea managed to finish 58 laps in total despite the adverse weather conditions, improving his lap pace and stopping the clock with a personal best of 1’38.029.
The road to the 2022 season has just begun for the team, and the feelings with which 2021 ends are decidedly positive.
MotoGP will stop for its usual end-of-year break and return to the track in February 2022, first in Malaysia (Sepang) and then in Indonesia (Mandalika). The first of the opening round of the 2022 season will be the Qatar GP in March.

“Talking to MotoGP about his experience with the new bike, he said it was difficult at midday in the windy conditions at Jerez.
He felt the bike had better braking and more power; however, the DNA remains the same.
However, the bike is different from what he did in the last eight years.
Overall he has a good feeling. Further, he said he still needs to work on the corners, and he is happy to go to Malaysia.
Malaysian, Mandalika track is the best track to start the season and see how the bike performs.
He further said. Overall, today was not bad, especially in the afternoon, where I could ride a little better.
With the new bike, I can have better braking and a little more power. Right now, I’m focused on improving the feeling, but it’s nice to feel more powerful.
The work of these two days has gone very well, and I am happy to arrive at the subsequent tests in Malaysia with this feeling.”.
