Hypermotard 950 series gets updated and now aligns with Euro 5 norms. We also see a racing shade for the SP version.
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 portfolio will receive the update with the new shade for the SP version.
The excellent part the model now arrives with the Euro 5 updates, and in Europe, the model will start coming with dealers from June 2021.
There are three different versions in the Hypermotard family, and they are
- 950
- RVE and
- SP
Ducati will retain the exhaust and the tubular frame. Further, Ducati has also kept the 937cc Testastretta V2 motor, which is not Euro 5.
The engine makes 114hp at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 96 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Unlike Supersport 950 and Monster, we see Ducati has also revised the gear transmission.
Now the riders can quickly put the neutral while the bike is stationary and can easily make gear changes while riding.
And for this, Ducati has put the shift drum on bearings, and the lever spring gets pretension.
How does the SP differ?
It new arrives with the new shade and looks similar to its MotoGP machine. The SP also gets Marchesini forged wheels, longer suspension from Ohlins.
And now the Quichsfiter arrives as standard. The standard Hypermotard 950 arrives in the red shade, while the RVE comes with graffiti.
