In a country where the appetite for premium, more miniature cubic capacity motorbikes grows by the day. It is only logical for players like Husqvarna to launch more petite models. 

The upcoming Svartpilen 201 truly steps down from the big bikes into a commuter’s territory, as evident from its design cues from yesteryears of scramblers. 

However, what makes the motorcycle different is its state-of-the-art engine and technology. In our books, this could well be a game-changer!

Husqvarna will finally make a fresh addition to its motorcycle lineup in India. After the Swedish two-wheeler manufacturer unveiled the Svartpilen 201. 

KTM 200 Duke’s powerplant

The new 199 cc model will go up against the KTM 200 Duke. As it gets the same 199cc engine from Duke with 25.84PS.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 201 is one of the most impressive looking machines to hit the roads in recent times.

Its minimalist exterior creates an aesthetic appeal further enhanced. By a cafe racer-inspired LED headlamp and LED tail lamp. 

The bike also comes with many other features.Like a Chrome-moly tubular space frame digital trip meter weighing just 149 kgs.


Original Husqvarna Svartpilen 201 shade

Based on the KTM 200 Duke. The new Husqvarna Svartpilen 201 is a modern urban biking machine that’s been spruced up to cater to metropolitan chic. However, the new Svartpilen 201 gets the revised exhaust layout.

Suppose priced around Rs 1.50 Lakh ( ex-showroom). It could be the most affordable motorcycle under the Husqvarna brand yet. And only the second BS6 compliant bike in its portfolio. 

It gets a 43mm USD fork and a preload-adjustable Monoshock like its elder sibling. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, apart from dual-purpose MRF tyres.

While all other components will remain the same with minor tweaks.Husqvarna has integrated a bold yellow carbon fibre shade and brown saddle to make it stand out from the crowd.


Plus, the front and render also receive the same treatment. In this new avatar, the bike looks sharp, and we expect to generate more interest within the young motorcycle community by applying the new shade.
