KTM is trying to overhaul its portfolio. A couple of days earlier, we had seen the new spied version of 390 RC 2021.
Further, the next-gen KTM Duke 125 is also spotted, and we now see a new variant of KTM 250 Duke 2021, possibly a 2022 variant.
Although everything remains at the prototype level, the upcoming KTM 250 Duke will get significant updates in the frame and bodywork.
Unlike Duke 790 and Superduke 1290, we won’t see the trellis subframe.
Further, it will come equipped with the new swingarm. No trellis subframe meant more space for rear side-mounted mono-shock.
The new bodywork will have a sharp design that may look similar to Superduke 1290. The prototype spotted had the same headlamp when compared to the current model.
New mule spotted
However, we may see the new headlamp when KTM puts the 250 Duke in production. We are still unsure if KTM has any plan to update the engine while understanding it may receive minor updates.
The new KTM 240 Duke will arrive with new brakes and may come by the end of 2021.
When it comes to India, we expect to arrive by 2022 start.
