Kawasaki has been busy updating its lineup for the 2026 model year, with new models and updates to existing favorites. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been announced:
New and Updated Models
- Kawasaki Z1100: This is a new naked streetfighter model that marks the return of a larger-displacement Z-series bike. It’s powered by a 1,099cc inline-four engine, a retuned version of the one found in the Ninja 1100SX. The Z1100 is designed for high performance with an aggressive stance.
- Kawasaki KLX230 Sherpa S ABS & KLX230 DF ABS: Kawasaki has introduced two new dual-sport and off-road-focused models. The Sherpa S ABS is designed for versatility, with a low seat height, tubeless rear tire, and features for both city and trail riding. The KLX230 DF ABS is optimized for more serious off-road adventures with long-travel suspension and a rear carrier.
- Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: This popular supersport bike receives new color options for the 2026 model year, including a new “Metallic Matt Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green” livery.
- Kawasaki Ninja 650: The Ninja 650 also gets new color schemes and a significant tech update. The 2026 model will feature a 4.3-inch color LCD instrument cluster with new navigation and voice command features via the Kawasaki Rideology app.
- Kawasaki Versys 650: Similar to the Ninja 650, the Versys 650 has been updated with new aesthetics, including new colors, and the addition of a 4.3-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and traction control as standard.
