In 2021, Kymco will introduce an updated range of Like scooters with Euro 5 compliant engines. 

The updates are intended to offer all the benefits of Euro 5 technology while still serving high-mileage customers who need extra power for performance riding. 

Euro 5 updates from Kymco

The Taiwanese manufacturer has just completed a significant overhaul of its flagship model.

The 125cc, air-cooled, four-valve, four-stroke, single-cylinder motor calibrates to 11.4 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 7.7 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. 

The standard version and sport both arrive with 12-inch wheels with a combined braking system.

Further, the standard version weighs 115 kgs (254 pounds), while the sporty version weighs 120 kgs ( 265 pounds).

Two versions also arrive with different fuel capacity.

  • Like 125cc gets the 7-litre fuel tank.
  • Like S arrives with 6.8 litres.

Apart from few technical differences, they have similar equipment. The Like S also comes with Odolo black.

Price

  • The 125cc arrives with €2,799, approx $3,385, while the
  • S arrives at €2,899 approx $3,507.

The 125cc also arrives with ABS plus digital console in terms of the electronic package now has smartphone connectivity. 125cc also gets the unique Diamond Silver Matte with a price tag of €3,199, approx $3,870.

Again going further, both versions ( 50 and 50s ) 50cc displacement scooter gets 50cc, air-cooled, two-valve, four-stroke calibrates to 3.3 hp.

Also, Kymco has converted both these versions to Euro 5.

The standard 50cc boasts circular lines and gets more chrome, while the S has a smooth headlight and angular lines.

The 50cc further comes in three shades Pearly, Red and Space grey, while S appears in Speed Orange and Matte Black livery.

The standard version costs €2,379, approx $2,878 USD. On the other hand, the S gets slightly expensive and arrives at €2,399, approx $2,903.
