Cover-2021-Triumph-Bobber-Cordovan Red

The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is critical to many motorcycle manufacturers.

Several new motorcycles that were supposed to arrive are not launched due to this interference.

However, this did not prevent Triumph from releasing the 2021 edition of Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

Compared with the previous model, the bike has undergone subtle but desirable improvements.

In this case, here are the five highlights of Bobber 2021.

Style

The style of Bonneville Bobber remains unchanged, and we are very excited about it.

Low profile, large bezel, chunky tires, small round headlights, a floating seat, and mirrors at the end of the handlebars, this is a typical British bobber, and it’s worth spending money.

The innovations include black powder-coated finishing on the engine cover, cam covers, and sprocket cover.

Features

Like most other Triumphs, the Bobber comes equipped with modern driver assistance equipment (for comfortable riding), such as two driving modes (Road and Rain), a traction control system, dual-channel ABS, and cruise control.

The headlamp and tail lamp have LEDs, and there is a small LCD at the centre of the round analogue console.

Engine

Although the Bobber has the same engine, TriumphTriumph claims that the torque transmission is more linear and smoother than before.

The new Bobber gets the 1200ccm parallel-twin engine that delivers 76.9 bhp of power output at 6100 rpm with the maximum torque of 106 Nm at 4000 rpm, and the engine further gets the six-speed gearbox.

Other Parts

Several changes are made to the hardware. First, the more prominent 19-inch front wheels were removed and then pre-assembled on the 16-inch wheels.

The suspension has been redesigned, equipped with a new Showa 47mm cartridge forks and a link-type mono-shock.

If we consider the brakes, the same 265mm Nissin calliper disc is used in the rear. There are twin 310mm discs with new axial Brembo callipers.

Finally, Triumph replaced the 8-litre fuel tank with a larger fuel tank with a capacity of 12-litre in quantity.

Pricing

With the above updates and upgrades, the price of the 2021 Bonneville Bobber has increased by Rs 1.5 lakh over the previous model.

The Triumph has tagged a price of Rs 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
