Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to keep their employees safe. Once again, Royal Enfield in Tamilnadu plans to shut down its manufacturing units temporarily.
Thiruvottiyur, Vallam Vadagal and Oragadam are the facilities that will remain close from May 27.
Earlier, due to COVID-19, they had closed the plants between May 13 to May 16. And they had used the shutdown period for maintenance.
Further, due to the second wave, every other two-wheeler manufacturers are being affected, Royal Enfield had to postpone its critical launches.
The next generation Classic 350 and the new Hunter supposed to arrive at this point.
However, the Royal Enfield fans will have to wait for more.
