Honda Malaysia has updated its two major middleweight contenders the Neo Sports Cafe CB650R and its sports sibling the CBR650R.
For both the models, significant updates are related to enhanced user experience and the front suspension when it comes to comfort.
The new 2021 models now come with the large piston 41mm Showa USD fork.
Honda takes the damping performance of both these bikes.
Further, the large piston provides excellent control and enhanced bump absorption.
For charging mobile, the models now come with Type C socket USB. The LCD speedo too, is updated.
For both the models, the design and style remain as is. However, CB650R Honda has introduced two new paint schemes Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.
And the CBR650R arrives in Grand Prix Red and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic.
Compared to the outgoing models. There are no changes in the performance specs as they remain the same.
Both the models come the DOHC 16-valve inline-4 cylinder, 649cc motor and calibrate 93.8hp @ 12,000rpm and 63 Nm @ 8,500 rpm torque.
The motor comes stacked in the rugged diamond frame. The suspension is an adjustable mono-shock 10 stage preload at the rear while the front gets the updated 41mm Showa SSBP upside-down fork.
At the front, the brakes are 310mm wave-pattern floating disc and the opposite end comes with the 240mm disc with single-piston calliper.
To support the electronics are Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), ABS and more.
