- BIC’s Approval: Received clearance from the international motorsports body for two-wheelers, FIM, to host India’s first MotoGP race.

Preparations
- All safety bikes and cars have been dispatched to the venue.
- Three safety cars, including a BMW M5CS, are present, with the other two, BMW M2 (G87) and BMW M3 touring, arriving on the race day.
- Over ₹120 crore has been invested in organizing the event, with significant support from the government.
- Rohit Sharma, CMO of FairStreet Sports (MotoGP Bharat), confirmed the completion of all necessary modifications to the track, including homologation, resurfacing, and updates to crash and grid zones.
- 3,000 individuals form the ‘race management crew’ for the event.
Ticket Sales
- ₹800 tickets are sold out.
- ₹2,500 tickets are mostly booked.
- Corporate boxes priced at ₹1.8 lakh have been largely taken up by businesses.
- Tickets priced at ₹5,000 and ₹20,000 are expected to see sales rise in the final 10 days leading up to the event.

About BIC
The Buddh International Circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke and is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, it hosted three editions of the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013. It is debuting in the MotoGP in 2023.
MotoGP Bharat Schedule
- 22 September: Sporting event from 4 pm to 5:10 pm IST.
- 23 September: 1st qualifying round from 11:20 am to 11:35 am and 2nd qualifying round from 11:45 am to 12 pm.
