San Marino sees Vinales taking the lead on the grid with a time of 1:32.265. KTM’s Espargaro takes the second position behind Yamaha’s Vinales.

That also meant this is Espargaro’s superlative performance and lap time in MotoGP. The other story to note was a tussle between Marquez and Rossi at Curvone turn, this was during the final lap when Marquez was behind Rossi and going close inside to pass Rossi but going far wide.

Similarly at Turn, 14 Rossi closed to Marquez but finally, both riders had to back. Due to this behavior, both Rossi and Marquez will have to appear before the Stewards panel.

Zarco will start from the third grid as he had collided with Oliveira at British GP resulting in a penalty. Oliveira still is recovering from the tendon injury.
