Fabio Quartararo of Petronas Yamaha smashed his own lap time on Sepang in FP2 today that makes him 0.534 seconds ahead.
With the weather conditions changing from Phillip Island to Sepang, we were not able to see any change in the energy in the Petronas Yamaha team. The FP2 has fought aggressively on Sepang with just 15 minutes to go and with just a split of 0.1 seconds among the top six contestants.
With 10 minutes to go came Vinales of Monster Energy Yamaha that saw him set the pace. However, things started changing as Morbidelli clocked fastest by was not able to get past his time compared to FP1.
We saw Marquez falling back as he was not able to do much on his soft Michelin tires with + 0.941 on-screen. Followed by Rins, Miller, and Espargaro.
