The Honda CBR250RR SP 2023, launched in Indonesia with a quickshifter, differs from the Honda CBR250RR released last year. It packs several new features and equipment, including an upgraded motor.
New features
It has a parallel-twin 249.7cc 8-valve engine with DHC that has increased from 12.1:1 to 12.5:1. The engine power was previously 40hp, but it is set for the updated version at 42hp. The second new feature includes a standard quickshifter (Quickshifter).
The new CBR250RR SP is made to optimize handling and ride comfort. The compact and lightweight engine makes it easy to manoeuvre at low speeds. It’s also designed to keep vibration levels down, and a flexible exhaust system delivers smooth power.
What makes it look unique is the golden colour Showa BPF front fork, similar to the CBR500R and CBR650R.
Single-disc brakes on the front and rear come with dual-channel ABS. The bike also gets the ‘throttle-by-wire system with full LED headlights.
The bike arrives at RM23,000, upwards of INR 4 Lakh in India.
