Google has announced several updates to its Android Automotive OS, focusing on entertainment and communication features. Android Auto will soon support Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx, enabling users to attend meetings and calls from their cars.

EV Owners
YouTube will also be added, allowing EV owners to watch videos while waiting for their cars to charge. GameSnacks will also provide access to games such as Beach Buggy Racing 2, Solitaire FRVR, and My Talking Tom Friends.
The new version of Google Assistant will be more innovative and allow drivers to stay focused on the road while it takes care of tasks such as responding to messages and sharing arrival times. Waze will soon be globally available for cars with Google built-in, and users can download it from the Play Store.
Navigation apps
The navigation apps will also be able to use the car’s digital instrument cluster to provide turn-by-turn directions.

Android Automotive OS 14 will support multi-screen capabilities, allowing passengers to send content from one screen to another. With front-passenger displays becoming more common in EVs, front-seat passengers can assist with navigation and choose entertainment options from their screens.
