Ola Electric has opened its 500th Experience Centre (EC) in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir as part of its direct-to-consumer (D2C) expansion strategy. With its current presence in around 300 cities, Ola Electric aims to reach 1,000 showrooms by August 2023.

Although the company has many showrooms nationwide, a considerable portion of its sales still come from its website and app. Ola Electric’s omnichannel approach has played a crucial role in making EVs accessible throughout India, especially in remote areas where EVs were previously unavailable.

Anshul Khandelwal, the Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric, highlighted the significance of the 500th store opening as both a celebration of their accomplishments and a reminder of the challenges ahead. He emphasized their commitment to working towards a sustainable future for India.

Ola Electric currently holds 40 percent of India’s EV scooter market share. In the previous month, the company achieved its highest-ever monthly sales, surpassing 30,000 units sold. This achievement solidified Ola Electric’s position at the top of the two-wheeler EV sales table for the eighth month.
