The Barni Racing Team has chosen Tito Rabat for the 2021 WorldSBK season.
The Catalan rider will defend the Bergamo team’s colours on the Ducati Panigale V4 R. And today he had his first contact with the new reality.

In the Barni Racing Team factory, in Calvenzano – about thirty kilometres south of Bergamo.
Rabat has signed the contract that will bind him to the team for a season and has climbed on the new bike for the first time.
Ducati Corse sporting director Paolo Ciabatti was also present at the meeting.
“Tito” Rabat, born in Barcelona in 1989, was Moto 2 world champion in 2014 and has returned from five seasons in MotoGP. The last three races with the Avintia Racing Ducati GPs.
Rabat will make his debut in the factory derivatives world championship, bringing his experience as a rider. To the Barni Racing Team with fifteen titles held between 125, Moto 2 and MotoGP.

After having raced in MotoGP for many years now, I can start a new adventure in Superbike.
