MV Agusta plans to reveal the Lucky Explorer Project at the next EICMA.With two new adventure-motorcycle models.
The Italian company hasn’t made an official announcement yet. But they did confirm their plans in a press release announcing the return of their Cagiva brand and its rally racing heritage.
The bikes will come in two flavours; the Lucky Explorer Bike. Which arrives to tackle the sand, dirt, and gravel of classic rally routes like the Dakar Rally; and the Lucky Explorer City Bike. For tackling paved roads, bike paths (we assume), and trails.
Dubbed Lucky Explorer, will sell both these bikes via MV’s website from November 23, 2021.
Pre-orders too can carried through MVs website. More information on what sort of adventure bikes they’ll be is thin on the ground for now. Although MV has released a teaser image showing a rugged dual-sport machine in a desert environment.
Thanks to the ‘Lucky Explorer’ appearance in Italy’s EICMA show schedule. We know that MV Agusta is planning something with adventure riding in mind.
And after paging through the Instagram feed of Lucky Explorer. We’ve got a bit of an idea of what the Italian marque has in store for us at this year’s international motorcycle trade show.Which goes down in Milan on November 25, 2021.
The Lucky Explorer Instagram handle shows Cagiva Elefants, which means we could see the brand’s revival.

MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov said, “I am excited about the launch of this very special project.
The Lucky Explorer concept is not just about bikes. It’s about a comprehensive world of emotions, memories, values and a way of being.
A long-awaited return for all the fans of Made-in-Schiranna, but also a new beginning and a leap into the future: no matter where life takes us, we know where we’re from”.
Meanwhile, we can all monitor that EICMA-dedicated Instagram account and drool over the teaser images of the new bikes and the promises of info and videos and photos and details and more to come.
MV Agusta will also take a moment to again bask in sheer joy over those three little words: “MV Agusta Adventure.”
