The Yamaha Sniper 155 and 155R were first introduced in the Malaysian market last year and have gained immense popularity among motorsport enthusiasts in that country.
Yamaha motorcycles recently launched these two models in the Philippines as well. The design of these scooters comes derived from the flagship superbike, the YZF-R1.

While the R variant is introduced earlier and features upgrades like an LCD screen and LCD instrument cluster.
The 155cc scooter arrives with a single-cylinder liquid-cool engine, and it makes 17.7bhp at 9,500rpm and 14.4Nm at 8,000rpm.
The front gets the telescopic forks and swingarm suspension on the opposite end. As far as brakes go, both ends have single discs.
The feature draws power from the VVA engine
Available in four shades Black Raven, Matte Titan, Yellow Hornet and Race Blue.
The standard Sniper model costs PHP 1,14,900, which is close to Rs 1.74 lakh. At the same time, the R costs PHP 1,20,900, which is close to Rs 1.84 lakh.
We may not see the Sniper anytime soon in India.
